The place where God calls you is where your deep gladness meets the world’s greatest needs.
– Frederick Buechner

Crystal is a blogger with a passion for travel, writing, storytelling, service, and mission.

After working for a few years in sales and marketing upon graduating from college at the University of San Diego, she said “bye bye” to her daily ins and outs in the corporate cubicle and followed her passion to use her gifts and talents where they would be of greatest use – to serve others, especially the marginalized and those in greatest need.

IMG_2387Little did she know that she would be entering the non-profit industry with Cabrini Mission Corps, working at a high school for teenage girls in New York City, serving for two years at a non-governmental organization in Baguio City, Philippines, and having an encounter with HIV/AIDS and TB in Swaziland, Africa at Cabrini Ministries.

Crystal’s missionary journey, however, did not stop there.

Crystal returned stateside in Fall 2012 from her international experiences to explore religious life, and worked closely with the campus community at Cabrini College in Radnor, PA. Upon leaving Pennsylvania, Crystal relocated to northern California, and now works in social justice programming at a high school in the Bay Area.

By sharing her personal experiences, providing inspiring resources, and challenging others through her posts, it is Crystal’s hope that all may seek ways in which they too, may use their gifts, talents, passions, and dreams to serve the common good, and work for social justice. Together, let us explore the possibilities, act with love, and support one another along the way. The time is now! #missionneverends
